What To Do Over the Summer Break?
I want to do something fun over the summer hiatus. Assuming we get a season three, this would be something to take up the time and keep us all united and excited. I’ll host another OUaT Contest Blitz a month before season three like I did last year. I may or may not be revising it a bit before then, but look out for a way to earn some cool Once Upon a Time prizes if we get a season three as we come to the final month before it will premiere.
But in the meantime, I wanted to do something fun over the summer. I was thinking of hosting something like -this scavenger hunt-, but I don’t know. Let me know if you’d be interested. Once Storybrooke is already hosting a rewatch of both seasons starting April 3 and Once Upon a Fan has their 2nd annual awards coming up. But I kind of wanted to host something too. What would you guys like? I don’t care if you follow me or not, just chime in! Send me an ask if you need more room. :D

With Kids is an organization based in Glasgow, Scotland. Here is what they are all about:
We hear a great deal about the problems in our society, family breakdown, binge drinking, drug abuse, child abuse, youth offending, homelessness, physical and mental ill health, suicide, crime and violence. Recent discoveries in psychology and neuroscience have confirmed that many of these problems can be traced back to difficulties in the care adults received in their early years. With Kids is based on a preventative approach that involves early intervention, working with children and families, using a range of evidence based strategies. At the core of our ethos is the belief that individuals, including children, given the right support, know the best solutions to their difficulties. Our challenge is to reinforce, not undermine this innate authority.

Team Dearies has teamed up with Once Upon a Fan UK to help raise money for With Kids Charity! On September 24th-30th, Once Upon a Fan is hosting an auction for the charity and are auctioning off items such as the actual chipped cup from set signed by Robert Carlyle and Emilie de Ravin, an original art piece of Mr. Gold, some of Laura’s handmade OUaT dolls, and more OUaT goodies.

What went through your mind when you initially read the pilot script? Was it a project you instantly wanted to be a part of? Was there a point during the very early filming stages of season one when you realised just how big this show would become?
I read the pilot and fell in love with the project instantly. I believed in this show and I was hopeful that others would feel the same, and they did!
The fan community for this show seems to be expanding at a spectacular pace. We notice it in terms of the daily visits to our fan site. How do you feel about the whole “Evil Regal” fandom that has taken a hold and developed so quickly?
I adore the Evil Regals! I communicate with them quite often on twitter and they’ve done so many incredible things. It’s just become this huge cult following, which is amazing! A lot of them have become good friends. When we were on hiatus, they came up with this thing called the Evil Regal “Get Healthy Challenge” and a lot of them have lost weight so I decided I should jump on board and I quit smoking. I see my Evil Regals getting healthy and thought I better do the same thing.
